Do Something

One of the keys to success is not how big your goal is but the drive you have for reaching it! You should make many plans and you should write them down. However, no plan is worth the paper it is written on unless it starts you to doing something. So get up, get moving and do something. Be productive.  Read James 1:22-25

24 Hours

The old excuse of “too little time” can rob

you.  The greatest possession you have

Is the 24 hours directly in front of you.

Don’t waste your time…be productive.

My Daughter has a saying I follow

Often. “Be Productive, Be Blessed!”

Turn Up Your Sleeves

The one who is waiting for something

To turn up might start with their on

sleeves. Hoping for change rarely

brings about change. Work, however,

generally does!

Integrity

If you walk in integrity you’ll do

 right and shun evil. Integrity

makes you do the right thing!

Job had many trails and God

rewarded him with much goodness

which is the end of the story

because he held on to his

integrity. A good example to

follow.

A Rut

When you find yourself in a rut, ask yourself

three questions: 1.Is this rut my own making?

2. Who am I following? Where am I going?

To get out of a rut you must make new choices!

Make sure you are following good leaders; don’t

simply follow the crowd. When you have no

vision but are just traveling through life you

are not reaching for a destination you end

up in a rut. Set some goals. Goals take you

somewhere! When you want to lead the

orchestra you must turn your back on the

crowd.

Contribute

No hits, no runs, no errors.  If we don’t try,

we don’t do…if we don’t do…we can’t bless

others.  We each have a contribution to make

to the lives of others.  Give your best effort

today.  It’s your best shot at scoring in the

game of life. If you want milk and sit on

a stool in the pasture expecting the cow

to back up to you….you’ll still be wanting

milk.  Let’s make a contribution today.

Get up and do something good!

Right Reason

If we do things simply for the appreciation they bring to ourselves,

then we are doing them for the wrong reasons. It’s a sad thing that

some people need attention and acceptance so much that they

give it to themselves rather than allowing others to give it to them.

We should give our gifts and talents because it is pleasing to

God. God has given  us many fine abilities and it is important

that we remember to use them for His Service and for His

Glory not caring whether, we receive praise or not. Giving

For the right reasons bring great rewards from God.

Pleasing Who

Are you running in circles, going all out trying your best

to please everybody? Here is some good advice. Don’t

be a man pleaser, don’t be a women pleaser, a

children pleaser, a boss pleaser or even a self pleaser.

Please GOD. When you’re ways please God He’ll

make even your enemies be at peace with you!
