Not What’s Happening

It may seem as though evil is getting away with evil without any consequences but that’s not what’s happening.

Read: Job 4:8

8 My experience shows that those who plant trouble
and cultivate evil will harvest the same.

and wait patiently for him to act.

A Good Thing

You won’t lack any good thing trusting God.

Read: Psalms 34:8-10

8 Taste and see that the Lord is good.
Oh, the joys of those who take refuge in him!
9 Fear the Lord, you his godly people,
for those who fear him will have all they need.
10 Even strong young lions sometimes go hungry,
but those who trust in the Lord will lack no good thing.

Be careful when you’re strong and don’t be naive. Know when temptation comes to look for the way to escape.

Read: I Corinthians 10:12-13

12 If you think you are standing strong, be careful not to fall. 13 The temptations in your life are no different from what others experience. And God is faithful. He will not allow the temptation to be more than you can stand. When you are tempted, he will show you a way out so that you can endure.

Stay Close

You’ll know when it is not God speaking when you stay close to Him.

You can also stay just as you are.

Read: I Corinthians 7:20-24

20 Yes, each of you should remain as you were when God called you. 21 Are you a slave? Don’t let that worry you—but if you get a chance to be free, take it. 22 And remember, if you were a slave when the Lord called you, you are now free in the Lord. And if you were free when the Lord called you, you are now a slave of Christ. 23 God paid a high price for you, so don’t be enslaved by the world. 24 Each of you, dear brothers and sisters, should remain as you were when God first called you.
