In Secret

Don’t shout out your prayers to impress people but with a quiet and sincere heart make your request to God in secret.

Read: Matthew 6:6

6 But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.

Make Your Requests

Being stressed out is not good. Learn to drop the thoughts that make you anxious and make your requests known to God.

Read: Philippians 4:6-7

Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; 7 and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Always

You can always go to God. He is always the same and He never lacks any good thing.

Please Read: Hebrews 13:8 and Hebrews 4:16 (click on the links below and read today’s Scriptures).

Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.

Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.

Count On It

People may try to be good but too often they are not faithful or trustworthy. Put your trust in God who is always faithful and trustworthy!

Please Read: Hebrews 6:18-19

So God has given both his promise and his oath. These two things are unchangeable because it is impossible for God to lie. Therefore, we who have fled to him for refuge can have great confidence as we hold to the hope that lies before us. 19 This hope is a strong and trustworthy anchor for our souls. It leads us through the curtain into God’s inner sanctuary.

Forgive

Family members and friends can be cruel sometimes but use Joseph as an example and forgive them.

Read: Genesis 50:21

You intended to harm me, but God intended it all for good. He brought me to this position so I could save the lives of many people. 21 No, don’t be afraid. I will continue to take care of you and your children.” So he reassured them by speaking kindly to them.

Stop Talking

Make a joyful noise celebrating God’s Goodness.

Read: Psalms 13:6

I will sing to the Lord

because he is good to me.

Ask Him

If you haven’t asked Him for what you need don’t get mad at Him if you don’t receive. Ask Him.

Read: James 4:2 & John 16:24

You want what you don’t have, so you scheme and kill to get it. You are jealous of what others have, but you can’t get it, so you fight and wage war to take it away from them. Yet you don’t have what you want because you don’t ask God for it.

Until now you have asked nothing in My name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full.

Shake It Off

Don’t let a little disappointment turn a mole into a mountain. Deal with the mole and shake it off.

Read: Acts 28:3,5

As Paul gathered an armful of sticks and was laying them on the fire, a poisonous snake, driven out by the heat, bit him on the hand.

But Paul shook off the snake into the fire and was unharmed.

In The Valley

There is peace in the valley too. You need to know and believe this.

Read: Psalm 23:4

Even when I walk

   through the darkest valley,[a]

I will not be afraid,

for you are close beside me.

Your rod and your staff

   protect and comfort me.

Confusion

When there is envy and strife present there is also confusion. God is not the author of confusion.

Read: James 3:16 & I Corinthians 14:33

For where envy and self-seeking exist, confusion and every evil thing are there.

For God is not the author of confusion but of peace, as in all the churches of the saints.
