Let’s Finish It

Start today to discipline yourself to complete what you start. Jesus finished the task he came to earth to do. The apostle Paul finished his assignment. Before the Lord will trust you with a big job, HE has to know you can finish little ones. So let’s fight a good fight. Remain faithful and let’s finish the race GOD has given each of us.

Build Bridges

We don’t see Jesus settling many disputes or negotiating conflicts. But we do see him cultivating inward harmony through acts of love:
washing the feet of men he knew would
betray him…
honoring the sinful woman whom society had scorned…
He built bridges by healing hurts.
Let’s build bridges and not walls.
Let’s Love and not hate.  Let’s Glorify God in all we do today.  God’s business is putting things right.  Read: Psalms 11:7

Take the Garbage Out

Does God seem far away from you? Do you
at times feel like nobody is listening when
you pray? Maybe God is saying “Take out the garbage”, and I’ll listen. Are you clinging to cheating?
Swearing? Dishonesty? Disobedience? Whatever
it is, get rid of it. You cannot expect God to answer your prayers when you deliberately sin. Leave sin,
take the garbage out of your heart then pray and
GOD will answer.

Temper Temper

Your temper is like a fire. It gets very destructive when it gets out of control. One of the most common
expressions used to describe the situation is to
“fly off the handle”. Think of a hammer head coming
loose from its handle. Several things happen as a
result.
First, the hammer becomes useless. No longer good
for work. In like manner when a person looses his
temper, he looses his effectivenesss.
Second, the hammerhead twirling out of control is likely to cause some type of damage. The same
way a bad temper damages physically and nearly always emotionally those who feel they are victims
of uncontrolled wrath.
Thirdly, the repair of both the hammer and the resulting damage takes time. The person who loses his temper may recover quickly, but the other one who is the victim of a hot temper rarely recovers as quickly.
Keep your temper today. Nobody else wants it. Rather reach for the best and fulfill your potential.

Simple Truth

If God does not rescue us immediately,
It is only because HE has a greater purpose
in mind.  HE will still give us peace in the
center of our storms.   Trust HIM.

Chosen

Would you choose a wanted murderer to lead a

Nation out of bondage? Would you call upon
a fugitive to carry the Ten Commandments to
the people? Would you choose someone who stutters to deliver a message to the King?
GOD did, GOD would and GOD calls those who
are HIS.
What is clear, GOD uses people like you and me
to change the world. Not super humans or even
geniuses for that matter but people who simply
say yes LORD! GOD knows who HE has chosen.
Take five and read:

Psalms 89:19
Acts 9:15
First Peter 2:4-9

Rest

Love,Joy, Patience, Kindness, Goodness, Faithfulness,Gentleness, and self-control. To these I commit my day. If I succeed, I will give thanks. If I fail, I will seek HIS grace. And then, when this day is done, I will place my head on my pillow and REST. Have a Blessed Week-end and remember

Solvents

Love and Trust are
the solvents for the
worry and cares and
frets of a life.
Apply these solvents
at once. Persevere.
Never loose heart!

Be Forewarned

The corrections of discipline are the way to life.
Keeping you from the immoral person
from the tongue of the wayward folks.
Do not lust in your heart after their beauty.
Do not let them captivate you with their eyes.
For the prostitute (Male or Female) reduces
you to a loaf of bread; Soggy and useless.
As my Pastor  A. R. Bernard would say
“Read Proverbs for wisdom”
Today read: Proverbs  6:23-29.
