Account

You will one day have to account for your actions.

Read: Romans 14:11-12

11 For it is written:

As I live, says the Lord,
Every knee shall bow to Me,
And every tongue shall confess to God.”

12 So then each of us shall give account of himself to God.

Hold On

A lack of understanding can hinder your life. Grab the truth and hold on to it.

Read: 2 Corinthians 5:17

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.

For Your Benefit

Listen and obey those that God has put over you. It’s for your own benefit.

Read: Hebrews 13:17

17 Obey your spiritual leaders, and do what they say. Their work is to watch over your souls, and they are accountable to God. Give them reason to do this with joy and not with sorrow. That would certainly not be for your benefit.

Fruit

You’ll know if it’s good by its fruit.

Read: Galatians 5:22-23

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentlenesses and self-control. Against such things there is no law.

Never Never

Never mock the justice of God.

Read: Galatians 6:7-9

Don’t be misled—you cannot mock the justice of God. You will always harvest what you plant. 8 Those who live only to satisfy their own sinful nature will harvest decay and death from that sinful nature. But those who live to please the Spirit will harvest everlasting life from the Spirit. 9 So let’s not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t give up.

A New Thing

You need to know and believe!

This is what the Lord says—
he who made a way through the sea,
a path through the mighty waters.

listen carefully to words of knowledge.

Understands

You can open up to Him. He knows and understands everything.

Read: Hebrews 4:15

For we do not have a high priest who is unable to empathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are—yet he did not sin.

Be Content

Don’t think about the grass being greener somewhere else. Accept what God has called you to do and be content.

Read: 1 Corinthians 7:17

Only let each person lead the life that the Lord has assigned to him, and to which God has called him. This is my rule in all the churches.

Don’t Forget

Remember the good things God has done, always.

Read: Psalm 103:2-5

Bless the Lord, O my soul,
And forget not all His benefits:
3 Who forgives all your iniquities,
Who heals all your diseases,
4 Who redeems your life from destruction,
Who crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies,
5 Who satisfies your mouth with good things,
So that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.
