Let your actions encourage others to do good and walk in love.

Read: Hebrews 10:24

Let us think of ways to motivate one another to acts of love and good works.

It is best to get advice from wise trustworthy advisors when making important decisions.

Wise words are more valuable

   than much gold and many rubies.

Only a fool would say there is no God.

Read: Psalm 14:1

Only fools say in their hearts,

   “There is no God.”

They are corrupt, and their actions are evil;

   not one of them does good!

Take your eyes off the shore and get into the deep. Don’t let fear stop you from moving forward.

Read: Matthew 14:29

“Yes, come,” Jesus said.

So Peter went over the side of the boat and walked on the water toward Jesus.

Don’t allow your heart to become hard and don’t become an unbelieving believer. Wilderness experiences are difficult but you must keep believing God’s Word.

That is why the Holy Spirit says,

“Today when you hear his voice,

8     don’t harden your hearts

as Israel did when they rebelled,

   when they tested me in the wilderness.

We can and must control our thoughts. Cast out every negative thought and replace it with a positive one immediately.

And now, dear brothers and sisters, one final thing. Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise.

Life is sad if you don’t stop to enjoy it. Wake up and laugh.

A cheerful heart is good medicine,

   but a crushed spirit dries up the bones.

Do not let fear grip you. Stay in faith through every storm.

Then Peter called to him, “Lord, if it’s really you, tell me to come to you, walking on the water.”

29 “Yes, come,” Jesus said.

So Peter went over the side of the boat and walked on the water toward Jesus.

Big or small, pray. Pray about everything and fear not!

For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline.

Move forward with confidence and a high self image because God has defeated your enemy!

No, despite all these things, overwhelming victory is ours through Christ, who loved us.
