Hello, Morsels of Kindness family!

I hope you have had a blessed, fun, restful and prayerful summer so far! I wanted to share a little update with you all. In this season, the Lord has been highlighting and emphasizing the importance of rest. To honor this, our team at Morsels of Kindness will be taking a break for the next month and a half. We will be back in action on September 5th, (mark your calnedars)! During this time we will be spending time in His word, writing and praying for you all, every day. We encourage you to do the same! Make it your goal this summer to seek His face like never before, get to know His word and pray for yourself and those around you.

We can’t wait to connect with you all in September, we will have new and exciting things to share that we will be working on while we are away!

May God bless and keep each and every one of you in the warmth of His embrace.

Trust in the LORD and do good; dwell in the land and enjoy safe pasture.
Take delight in the LORD, and He will give you the desires of your heart.
Commit your ways to the LORD; trust in Him and He will do this: He will make your righteous reward shine like the dawn, your vindication like the noonday sun. Rest in the presence of the LORD and wait patiently for Him

You don’t have to settle for toxic relationships. Surround yourself with people who make you feel your best.

Like a muddied fountain and a polluted spring
Is a righteous man who yields and compromises his integrity before the wicked.

When in need, pray!

Read: Matthew 6:5-6

When you pray, don’t be like the hypocrites who love to pray publicly on street corners and in the synagogues where everyone can see them. I tell you the truth, that is all the reward they will ever get. 6 But when you pray, go away by yourself, shut the door behind you, and pray to your Father in private. Then your Father, who sees everything, will reward you.

When you walk in love, you will never miss a step.

Let love and faithfulness never leave you;
bind them around your neck,
write them on the tablet of your heart.
4 Then you will win favor and a good name
in the sight of God and man.

Use your God-given gifts wisely.

Read: Luke 19:26

He replied, ‘I tell you that to everyone who has, more will be given, but as for the one who has nothing, even what they have will be taken away.

Never stop forgiving.

Read: Matthew 18:20-21

For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them.” Then Peter came to Him and said, “Lord, how often shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? Up to seven times?

You must protect yourself too!

Read: 2 Corinthians 6:14

Do not be yoked together with unbelievers. For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness?

Spend time giving your love, time, money and attention to those
you care about while you’re here.

Read: 1 Timothy 6:6-7

But godliness with contentment is great gain. 7 For we brought nothing into the world, and we can take nothing out of it.

When faced with temptation, keep running.

Read: 1 Corinthians 10:13

There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it

If you don’t understand, ask for understanding.
