There are many examples for us to follow in scripture to gain success.
Read: 2 Chronicles 31:20-21
In this way, King Hezekiah handled the distribution throughout all Judah, doing what was pleasing and good in the sight of the Lord his God. 21 In all that he did in the service of the Temple of God and in his efforts to follow God’s laws and commands, Hezekiah sought his God wholeheartedly. As a result, he was very successful.
Understand where wealth comes from.
Read: 1 Chronicles 29:11-13
11 Yours, O Lord, is the greatness, the power, the glory, the victory, and the majesty. Everything in the heavens and on earth is yours, O Lord, and this is your kingdom. We adore you as the one who is over all things. 12 Wealth and honor come from you alone, for you rule over everything. Power and might are in your hand, and at your discretion, people are made great and given strength.
13 “O our God, we thank you and praise your glorious name!
The choice is always yours.
Read: Deuteronomy 30:19-20
Today I have given you the choice between life and death, between blessings and curses. Now I call on heaven and earth to witness the choice you make. Oh, that you would choose life, so that you and your descendants might live! 20 You can make this choice by loving the Lord your God, obeying him, and committing yourself firmly to him. This is the key to your life. And if you love and obey the Lord, you will live long in the land the Lord swore to give your ancestors Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.
With obedience comes blessings.

And the Lord will make you the head and not the tail; you shall be above only, and not be beneath, if you heed the commandments of the Lord your God, which I command you today, and are careful to observe them.
It is much better to obey God.

Therefore you shall keep every commandment which I command you today, that you may be strong, and go in and possess the land which you cross over to possess, 9 and that you may prolong your days in the land which the Lord swore to give your fathers, to them and their descendants, ‘a land flowing with milk and honey.
You will one day have to account for your actions.

And every tongue shall confess to God.”
12 So then each of us shall give account of himself to God.
At some point in life, all of us need deliverance from something.
Read: Matthew 16:13
Rather, worship the Lord your God; it is he who will deliver you from the hand of all your enemies.
If you want to win, follow these instructions.

Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit by itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in me. 5 I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing.
Don’t hide! Speak up for yourself and for others.

The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears,
And delivers them out of all their troubles.
Honor Him in all you do.

Let your light shine before men in such a way that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven.
