Speak the truth only and enjoy many happy days.

For the Scriptures say,
“If you want to enjoy life
and see many happy days,
keep your tongue from speaking evil
and your lips from telling lies.
11 Turn away from evil and do good.
Search for peace, and work to maintain it.
To correct a misstep simply confess it, don’t hide it and then you can move on.

People who conceal their sins will not prosper,
but if they confess and turn from them, they will receive mercy.
To have a fulfilling relationship you have to think about the other person’s needs and not your own.

Someone has done you wrong but don’t think about avenging yourself. Leave it to God. He’ll take care of it.

God looks upon you and your wife as equals in Him. Stay in peace with one another so your prayers can be answered.

7 In the same way, you husbands must give honor to your wives. Treat your wife with understanding as you live together. She may be weaker than you are, but she is your equal partner in God’s gift of new life. Treat her as you should so your prayers will not be hindered.
God has a way of silencing those against you as you live honorably.

12 Be careful to live properly among your unbelieving neighbors. Then even if they accuse you of doing wrong, they will see your honorable behavior, and they will give honor to God when he judges the world.
15 It is God’s will that your honorable lives should silence those ignorant people who make foolish accusations against you.
If you want to defeat what you don’t want to deal with in the world you can. If you want to go all the way with God you can. Just start praying His Word.
