Stand Firm

Many of you live in the competitive jungle of the business world and some of you may work for a boss who asks you to compromise your ethics and integrity. Pressured by the tension between pleasing your boss, who can fire you or demote you or just make your life difficult, and your commitment to Christ, you need the inner resources to stand firm. The good news is this; you have it! The provision Christ gives will be sufficient for such a stress test.

Real And More Real

People who refuse to acknowledge the existence of God

simply aren’t aware of Who is walking beside them day by

day. We can refuse to recognize God, but that does not

mean He ceases to exist or that He stops reaching out to

us with His great love.  Although the Lord may remain invisible

to now, He is more real than anything we can see with our

physical eyes.  An atheist is someone who has no invisible

means of support.  God is real and more real!

No Matter What!

Your moods may shift, but God’s doesn’t.

Our minds may change, but God’s doesn’t.

Our devotion to Him may falter, but God’s

Never does. Even if we are faithless, He is

Faithful, for He cannot betray Himself. He

Is a sure God. He loves us no matter what!

Give Thanks

It’s a new day, a new week and a fresh start!

We may look on our world with wonder and

amazement, but nothing is more amazing

then the fact that it was all made for us,

and out of God’s infinite love for us. We

owe Him thanks and praise every day

for giving so much. A good way to start

your week is with thanksgiving. You are

breathing, hearing, talking, walking.

You are alive! Give thanks!

Where Are You Going

Many people go through life without a thought

about where they are heading.  They live one

day at a time, waiting for life to happen to them

rather than planning how they might make their

lives more meaningful. It is good when we are

flexible enough to deal with the curves that

we’re thrown in life, but it is also prudent for

us to make the best use of our time while

we’re here. God gave us our lives to be

productive and enjoy. Where are you

going?  Remember go to Church!

A Wise Life

God’s commandments are like markers for us,

revealing the trouble spots and snag-points of life.

When we follow God’s wisdom and steer clear of

what is harmful for us, life is not only more

enjoyable, but more productive. Wisdom

Is the quality that keeps you from getting into

situations where you need it. A life of doing

right is the wisest life there is!

Push And Pull

The doors of opportunity are marked Push and Pull.

Do not be afraid to trust God. Don’t let indecision

steal your dream. Never just sit idly by while

time is moving on. Sometimes you need to

come off of the main road to achieve. When

opportunity greets you, you have to take a

step of faith. Push a little and pull a little

Don’t just sit there…do something.

As Pastor Bernard would say ”God

puts His promises in our reach not

in our hands”. Go for it!

Be Strong

Rather than give up in the face of adverse situations

be strong. When faced with adversity, there’s nearly

always a creative way through it, around it, over it,

or under it.  Most adverse situations are resolved.

Be creative in facing your troubles today. There

Is a way! Adversity causes some of us to break;

Others to break records.  Be strong!

Trouble

When trouble comes continue to do what you

know is right. Instead of jumping to conclusions,

take the time to discuss the problem with God.

Asking others for help, wisdom and guidance

Is good, but only after you have asked God first.

When you assume the worst, act on bad advice,

or refuse to admit that you have done something

wrong, the problem will only become worst.

Let God be your first counselor in times of

Trouble.
