Work at getting it right to receive a well done on your service.

15 Work hard so God can say to you, “Well done.” Be a good workman, one who does not need to be ashamed when God examines your work. Know what his Word says and means.
When approached with temptation or having sensual thoughts the best thing to do is run.

The temptations in your life are no different from what others experience. And God is faithful. He will not allow the temptation to be more than you can stand. When you are tempted, he will show you a way out so that you can endure.
Spend time with Him every morning.

The Lord God has given me his words of wisdom so that I may know what I should say to all these weary ones. Morning by morning he wakens me and opens my understanding to his will.
You can’t hate your brother and love God.

20 If someone says, “I love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen, how can he love God whom he has not seen?
Don’t fear people and miss what God is wants you to be.

Fearing people is a dangerous trap,
but trusting the Lord means safety.
Don’t allow falsehood, hate and evil take root in you. Build up love, truth and build habits of goodness in your heart and mind.

The integrity of the upright guides them,
but the unfaithful are destroyed by their duplicity.

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
Don’t boast about you that can make you stumble.

Let someone else praise you, and not your own mouth;
an outsider, and not your own lips.
Trust God alone.

Believe what has been promised.
