Be specific at all times when you go to God.

Read: Psalms 56:3

But when I am afraid,
    I will put my trust in you.

Always take a day to rest.

Read: Exodus 20:11

¹¹ For in six days the Lord made the heavens, the earth, the sea, and everything in them; but on the seventh day he rested. That is why the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and set it apart as holy.

Get ready and trust God for the best is yet to come.

³ I heard a loud shout from the throne, saying, “Look, God’s home is now among his people! He will live with them, and they will be his people. God himself will be with them. ⁴ He will wipe every tear from their eyes, and there will be no more death or sorrow or crying or pain. All these things are gone forever.”

⁵ And the one sitting on the throne said, “Look, I am making everything new!” And then he said to me, “Write this down, for what I tell you is trustworthy and true.”

Just be thankful for this gift.

⁸ God saved you by his grace when you believed. And you can’t take credit for this; it is a gift from God.

Words without action is like saying nothing. Speak up and do something.

¹⁴ What good is it, dear brothers and sisters, if you say you have faith but don’t show it by your actions? Can that kind of faith save anyone? ¹⁵ Suppose you see a brother or sister who has no food or clothing, ¹⁶ and you say, “Good-bye and have a good day; stay warm and eat well”—but then you don’t give that person any food or clothing. What good does that do?

¹⁷ So you see, faith by itself isn’t enough. Unless it produces good deeds, it is dead and useless.

Ask God, stay in faith and wait on God for the answers.

So don’t you think God will surely give justice to his chosen people who cry out to him day and night? Will he keep putting them off? ⁸ I tell you, he will grant justice to them quickly! But when the Son of Man returns, how many will he find on the earth who have faith?”

Reject jealousy and stay in peace.

A peaceful heart leads to a healthy body;
    jealousy is like cancer in the bones.

Stay away from those with hot tempers.

People with understanding control their anger;
    a hot temper shows great foolishness.

There is nothing that can separate us from His love.

³⁹ No power in the sky above or in the earth below—indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.

We stand firm because of our Rock.

The Lord is my rock, my fortress, and my savior;
    my God is my rock, in whom I find protection.
He is my shield, the power that saves me,
    and my place of safety.
