Trying to get a fool to understand is a waste of time.

But only in revealing his personal opinions [unwittingly displaying his self-indulgence and his stupidity].
He is the anchor of your hope. In the storm, trust that He will keep you safe.

I have come as Light into the world, so that everyone who believes and trusts in Me [as Savior—all those who anchor their hope in Me and rely on the truth of My message] will not continue to live in darkness.
When self-reflecting, start on the inside, then out. The Lord looks at the heart.

But the Lord said to Samuel, “Do not look at his appearance or at the height of his stature, because I have rejected him. For the Lord sees not as man sees; for man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.
He is always beside you. With Him, you will never be shaken.

I have set the Lord always before me; because he is at my right hand, I shall not be shaken.
Put into action the things you have learned from His Word.

But prove yourselves doers of the word [actively and continually obeying God’s precepts], and not merely listeners [who hear the word but fail to internalize its meaning], deluding yourselves [by unsound reasoning contrary to the truth.
To be protected at all times, stay under God’s protection.

In conclusion, be strong in the Lord [draw your strength from Him and be empowered through your union with Him] and in the power of His [boundless] might.
For our struggle is not against flesh and blood [contending only with physical opponents], but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this [present] darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly (supernatural) places.
There are many trials in this life, but God has the power to help you overcome them. Do not worry.

God loves your persistence. Keep on asking, keep on believing
and you’ll keep on receiving.

Do not be afraid to live your life. The Lord is your fortress, He will protect you from all danger.
