When God gives us something, it is not because we have earned it. It’s because He loves us.

Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.

Nothing is more important than being with Him.

“Martha, Martha,” the Lord answered, “you are worried and upset about many things, 42 but few things are needed—or indeed only one. Mary has chosen what is better, and it will not be taken away from her.”
How precious is Your lovingkindness, O God!

Choose love, always.

You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall love your neighbor (fellow man) and hate your enemy.’ 44 But I say to you, love [that is, unselfishly seek the best or higher good for] your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, 45 so that you may [show yourselves to] be the children of your Father who is in heaven; for He makes His sun rise on those who are evil and on those who are good, and makes the rain fall on the righteous [those who are morally upright] and the unrighteous [the unrepentant, those who oppose Him].

Seek righteousness.

Righteousness [moral and spiritual integrity and virtuous character] exalts a nation,

Do everything you can to honor God’s requests.

I will hasten and not delay
to obey your commands.

Clean everything out of your life that isn’t holy.

Read: James 1:21

So get rid of all uncleanness and all that remains of wickedness, and with a humble spirit receive the word [of God] which is implanted [actually rooted in your heart], which is able to save your souls.

Trusting in God doesn’t mean that we will always understand everything that is happening around us.

Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.

Seek wisdom, and you will prosper.

He who gains wisdom and good sense loves (preserves) his own soul;
He who keeps understanding will find good and prosper.

Always be accurate when doing business.

The Lord detests dishonest scales,
but accurate weights find favor with him.

Love covers all.

Above all, have fervent and unfailing love for one another, because love covers a multitude of sins [it overlooks unkindness and unselfishly seeks the best for others].​
