Learning God’s Word gives you light.

Read: Psalms 119:130

The teaching of your word gives light,

   so even the simple can understand.

Don’t lie to yourself. Many times the truth can hurt but it always sets you free so pray and receive this.

Read: Psalms 119:29 

Keep me from lying to myself;

   give me the privilege of knowing your instructions.

I’ve found a place of safety and you can too.

Read: Psalms 73:28 & 86:10 

But as for me, how good it is to be near God!

   I have made the Sovereign Lord my shelter,

   and I will tell everyone about the wonderful things you do.

For you are great and perform wonderful deeds.

   You alone are God.

What we should do is give Him thanks!

Read: Psalms 50:14-15 

Make thankfulness your sacrifice to God,

   and keep the vows you made to the Most High.

15 Then call on me when you are in trouble,

   and I will rescue you,

   and you will give me glory.

Do not trust in wealth, it won’t save you.

Read: Psalm 49:5-7,16-20 

Why should I fear when trouble comes,

   when enemies surround me?

6 They trust in their wealth

   and boast of great riches.

7 Yet they cannot redeem themselves from death[a]

   by paying a ransom to God.

So don’t be dismayed when the wicked grow rich

   and their homes become ever more splendid.

17 For when they die, they take nothing with them.

   Their wealth will not follow them into the grave.

18 In this life they consider themselves fortunate

   and are applauded for their success.

19 But they will die like all before them

   and never again see the light of day.

20 People who boast of their wealth don’t understand;

   they will die, just like animals.

All you need to do is ask.

Teach me your ways, O Lord,

   that I may live according to your truth!

Grant me purity of heart,

   so that I may honor you.

Know these things and you’ll be blessed.

Read: Psalms 46:10 & 47:1-3 

“Be still, and know that I am God!

   I will be honored by every nation.

   I will be honored throughout the world.”

“Come, everyone! Clap your hands!

   Shout to God with joyful praise!

2 For the Lord Most High is awesome.

   He is the great King of all the earth.

3 He subdues the nations before us,

   putting our enemies beneath our feet.”

If you can share the truth with someone do it!

“Then the rich man said, ‘Please, Father Abraham, at least send him to my father’s home.28 For I have five brothers, and I want him to warn them so they don’t end up in this place of torment.’

You think you know but you don’t! Only God knows the heart.

Read: Jeremiah 17:9-10

No, dear brothers and sisters, I have not achieved it,[a] but I focus on this one thing: Forgetting the past and looking forward to what lies ahead, 14 I press on to reach the end of the race and receive the heavenly prize for which God, through Christ Jesus, is calling us.

Do not let the past steal your peace and joy. It is a new day, stay in touch with the now, today.
