Dangerous

Disrespecting God is dangerous business. Here’s a good example.

Read: Leviticus 10:1-2

Aaron’s sons Nadab and Abihu put coals of fire in their incense burners and sprinkled incense over them. In this way, they disobeyed the Lord by burning before him the wrong kind of fire, different than he had commanded. 2 So fire blazed forth from the Lord’s presence and burned them up, and they died there before the Lord.

Sustain You

No matter what you’re going through God can and will sustain you.

Read: Psalm 54:4 and Psalms 55:22

But God is my helper.
The Lord keeps me alive!

Give your burdens to the Lord,
and he will take care of you.
He will not permit the godly to slip and fall.

Humble

Don’t pretend to be, but humble yourself and you will be exalted.

I tell you, this sinner, not the Pharisee, returned home justified before God. For those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted.”

That’s Not You!

Life gets rough but quitting and giving up are only for people who plan to fail. That is not you! Let me remind  you…

Read: 2 Timothy 1:7

For God did not give us a spirit of timidity or cowardice or fear, but [He has given us a spirit] of power and of love and of sound judgment and personal discipline [abilities that result in a calm, well-balanced mind and self-control].

In Time

Never quit and don’t be in a hurry. Trust God who will fix all things in your life in His time.

Read: Philippians 1:6

I am convinced and confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will [continue to] perfect and complete it until the day of Christ Jesus [the time of His return].

Far Better

You gotta know believing is far better than knowing. Believing takes faith which can make things happen.

Read: Mark 10:51-52

“What do you want me to do for you?” Jesus asked.

“My Rabbi,[a]” the blind man said, “I want to see!”

52 And Jesus said to him, “Go, for your faith has healed you.” Instantly the man could see, and he followed Jesus down the road.[b]

Put Your Priorities In Check

We have time for movies, work, time for fun, but are too tired when it’s time for Church…not good. The corruption of morals precedes the ruin of all our affairs. Let’s put our priorities in check.

Read: John 9:39 – 41

Then Jesus said, “I came into this world for judgment [to separate those who believe in Me from those who reject Me—to declare judgment on those who choose to be separated from God], so that the sightless would see, and those who see would become blind.” 40 Some Pharisees who were with Him heard these things and said to Him, “Are we also blind?” 41 Jesus said to them, “If you were blind [to spiritual things], you would have no sin [and would not be blamed for your unbelief]; but since you claim to have [spiritual] sight, [you have no excuse so] your sin and guilt remain.
