When you’re upset don’t speak out of anger. Wait, calm down.

Read: Proverbs 29:11 

A fool vents all his feelings,

But a wise man holds them back.

Stop punishing yourself for something that no longer exist.

Read: Isaiah 43:25

“I, even I, am He who blots out your transgressions for My own sake;

And I will not remember your sins.

A little extra effort, a little extra time, a little extra care and a little extra attention can be the difference between good and great.

Read: James 1:4

But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing.

Caving in is not an option for you. It is important to stay in faith through troublesome times.

Read: I Peter 5:8-9

Stay alert! Watch out for your great enemy, the devil. He prowls around like a roaring lion, looking for someone to devour. 9 Stand firm against him, and be strong in your faith. Remember that your family of believers[a] all over the world is going through the same kind of suffering you are.

God intervenes in the affairs of our lives by invitation. Invite Him in.

Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and will dine with him, and he with Me.

Patience and kindness get  far better results than what anger and abrasive responses produce.

You husbands in the same way, live with your wives in an understanding way, as with someone weaker, since she is a woman; and show her honor as a fellow heir of the grace of life, so that your prayers will not be hindered.

8 To sum up, all of you be harmonious, sympathetic, brotherly, kindhearted, and humble in spirit;

Busy busy is everyday but be sure your choices of the day are wise.

Be very careful, then, how you live—not as unwise but as wise, 16 making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil.

Press on in Faith doing God’s will even when you’re afraid.

Some time later, the Lord spoke to Abram in a vision and said to him, “Do not be afraid, Abram, for I will protect you, and your reward will be great.”

Being in agreement in prayer is far more important than being right. Changing is what is right at times.

These all continued with one accord in prayer and supplication,[a] with the women and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with His brothers.

Too many parents are not on spanking terms with their children. Someone once said, “Spanking is not abuse. Abuse is rooted in a parent’s uncontrolled expression of power. Spanking is discipline intended to restrain and re-channel a child’s uncontrolled expression of power! Abuse never has a place. Spanking sometimes does.”

Those who spare the rod of discipline hate their children.

Those who love their children care enough to discipline them.
