Favor

The favor of God is a gift to the righteous. His favor opens doors that no man can shut, takes you beyond your dreams allowing you to receive far more than you could hope for in any situation.

Read: Psalms 5:11-12  NKJV

But let all those rejoice who put their trust in You;

Let them ever shout for joy, because You defend them;

Let those also who love Your name

Be joyful in You.

For You, O Lord, will bless the righteous;

With favor You will surround him as with a shield.

For Women/ Wives

Strive and fill this description for your good.

Read: Proverbs 31:25-31

She is clothed with strength and dignity,

   and she laughs without fear of the future.

26 When she speaks, her words are wise,

   and she gives instructions with kindness.

27 She carefully watches everything in her household

   and suffers nothing from laziness.

28 Her children stand and bless her.

   Her husband praises her:

29 “There are many virtuous and capable women in the world,

   but you surpass them all!”

30 Charm is deceptive, and beauty does not last;

   but a woman who fears the Lord will be greatly praised.

31 Reward her for all she has done.

   Let her deeds publicly declare her praise.

For Men/ Husbands

A clear message to you from God.

Read: Malachi 2:15-16

Didn’t the Lord make you one with your wife? In body and spirit you are his. And what does he want? Godly children from your union. So guard your heart; remain loyal to the wife of your youth. 16 “For I hate divorce!” says the Lord, the God of Israel. “To divorce your wife is to overwhelm her with cruelty,” says the Lord of Heaven’s Armies. “So guard your heart; do not be unfaithful to your wife.”

7 Things I’ve Learned in 70 Years

I turned 70 this summer and as I have been reflecting on my beautiful life I realized that there have been wonderful life lessons I have learned. I am excited to share with you the 7 most important things I’ve learned in my 70 years!

  1. In everything you do, acknowledge, serve and trust God! Whether it is in the church, marketplace or secular environments, it is so important to live with an awareness of Him.
  2. Stay true to your purpose and never give up on your dreams. No matter how long it takes, you’ll find success if you stay true to yourself and your purpose. Never give up!
  3. Don’t despise small beginnings, instead nurture them and watch them grow.
  4. It is so important to accept and love yourself.
  5. Be honest with yourself and improve yourself in every way.
  6. Be transparent in personal relationships. It is so important to be surrounded by people you can be yourself around. Make sure you are selective in who you associate with because your inner circle will influence you. Be sure that all your personal relationships are righteous.
  7. Be willing to accept constructive criticism. We can’t always have it all together so invite people you trust and respect to speak into your life.

Love, Raina
