It’s only good if you are giving truly from your heart when you give to God.

Read: 2 Corinthians 9:7

⁷ You must each decide in your heart how much to give. And don’t give reluctantly or in response to pressure. “For God loves a person who gives cheerfully.”

Don’t be quick to form an opinion because of what you see.

Read: 1 Samuel 16:7

⁷ But the Lord said to Samuel, “Don’t judge by his appearance or height, for I have rejected him. The Lord doesn’t see things the way you see them. People judge by outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.”

Don’t get caught up in who’s right and who’s wrong.

⁹ God blesses those who work for peace,
    for they will be called the children of God.

We may get tired, but don’t give up on doing what is good!

We are ordered to live in harmony with one another.

Read: 1 Corinthians 1:10

¹⁰ I appeal to you, dear brothers and sisters, by the authority of our Lord Jesus Christ, to live in harmony with each other. Let there be no divisions in the church. Rather, be of one mind, united in thought and purpose.

Being selfish will profit you little. Look out for the well being of others too.

³ Don’t be selfish; don’t try to impress others. Be humble, thinking of others as better than yourselves. ⁴ Don’t look out only for your own interests, but take an interest in others, too.

Only have people close to you if they are trustworthy.

    but a false witness is a traitor.

God makes it plain that a man and a woman together is moral.

² But because there is so much sexual immorality, each man should have his own wife, and each woman should have her own husband.

Though times can be changeling on all levels …hold fast and be steadfast. You are going through the storms with nothing but blessings waiting for you.

⁹ So let’s not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t give up.

We have to stay connected to our source of life in order to survive.

⁴ Remain in me, and I will remain in you. For a branch cannot produce fruit if it is severed from the vine, and you cannot be fruitful unless you remain in me.

⁵ “Yes, I am the vine; you are the branches. Those who remain in me, and I in them, will produce much fruit. For apart from me you can do nothing. ⁶ Anyone who does not remain in me is thrown away like a useless branch and withers. Such branches are gathered into a pile to be burned.
