Leardership
Leadership is rising above pride, arrogance, mistakes, failures, set backs, heartaches, pain, discouragement and arriving at a place of peace anyway, not murmuring, obeying God. The best leader is the one who can faithfully follow God no matter what! True leaders show leadership by humbling themselves. Read: I Corinthians 9:27, Romans 8:13-14, 2 Timothy 4:7-8
Don’t Stop
Do not hesitate to look for new ways to do good. Especially when you tire of what you’ve been doing. Keep doing the right thing and you will be blessed if you don’t stop. Read Galatians 6:9-10
Nobler Still
Wishing you could change the world is noble but actually changing your own tiny corner of the world is nobler still. Try loving your neighbor and giving a thirsty person a drink of water right where you are; that is a good start. Read: Matthew 10:42
What Makes The Difference
Being focused, dedicated and disciplined will make the difference between a mediocre life and a great life. Deny anything that keeps you from doing your best. That’s what makes the difference. Read: I Corinthians 9:24-27
Follow Through
Do not allow incomplete obedience to separate you from the full enjoyment of God’s presence and blessing. A task half done is as useless as a task never begun. Good intentions and careful workmanship count for very little if the task is never completed. Be diligent and follow through to completion. Read: Proverbs 13:4, Proverbs 12:24, Proverbs 10:4.
Hypocrisy
Hypocrisy results when your walk doesn’t correspond with your talk. When what you do falls short of what you promised. Others are forced to conclude you are Living a lie. When you claim you have faith in God but your life is devoid of works of faith. Start today making good on the promises you’ve made to others. Be a good example by honoring your word and God. Respect for God should be Seen! Read: James 2:14, Joshua 21:43-45
Happiness
Happiness does not come wrapped in brightly colored packages as a “gift” given to us by others. Happiness comes when we uncover the gifts that lie within us and begin to use them to please God and bless others. Happiness flows from within. It rises up in life’s greatest tragedies when we choose to smile at what we know to be good and lasting, rather than to cry at what temporarily hurts us. The person who is born with a talent which is suppose to be used finds their greatest happiness in using it. Happiness is a choice. Read: Acts 20:24 TLB, Joshua 24:15, Psalm 144:15
Lock It Tight
When you’re getting away from temptation close the door tight and then lock it. Change and growth are always possible when you are determined not to open that door again. Being tempted and yielding to it can destroy your dreams. So flee from temptation, close the door and lock it tight. Read: II Timothy 2:22
Change Tomorrow Today
What will you do today to make your tomorrow better? Don’t be discouraged; everyone who got were they are started where they were;each day we have a fresh opportunity to change tomorrow. Each day we are moving forward or moving backward, moving higher or lower. We can change our tomorrow by the steps we take today. Read: Job 8:7, I Peter 4:10
