Step Out

Step out and take a chance when you know you’ve heard from God. Faith is action.

Read: Psalm 33:18

“But the Lord watches over those who fear him, those who rely on his unfailing love.”

When You Know

Do not say “yes” when you know “no” is the right answer.

Read: Matthew 5:37

“Just say a simple, ‘Yes, I will,’ or ‘No, I won’t.’ Anything beyond this is from the evil one.”

Right Way To Go

Getting direction from God before getting into other things is the right way to go.

Read: Luke 10:39-42

39 Her sister, Mary, sat at the Lord’s feet, listening to what he taught.
40 But Martha was distracted by the big dinner she was preparing. She came to Jesus and said, “Lord, doesn’t it seem unfair to you that my sister just sits here while I do all the work? Tell her to come and help me.”
41 But the Lord said to her, “My dear Martha, you are worried and upset over all these details!
42 There is only one thing worth being concerned about. Mary has discovered it, and it will not be taken away from her.”

Necessary

This may be a hard pill to swallow and we may not like it, but some problems we have are necessary in order for us to grow.

Exposed

You can be sure wrongdoing will be exposed even when it has been hidden.

Read: Proverbs 26:26

“While their hatred may be concealed by trickery,
their wrongdoing will be exposed in public.”

Save Your Breath

It is difficult to give advice to a know-it-all. Save your breath.

Read: Proverbs 23:9

“Don’t waste your breath on fools,
for they will despise the wisest advice.”

Wise Yet Poor

We need to understand something: being wise and poor will not be respected for long. Use God’s wisdom for you too!

Read: Ecclesiastes 9:15-16

“A poor, wise man knew how to save the town, and so it was rescued. But afterward no one thought to thank him. So even though wisdom is better than strength, those who are wise will be despised if they are poor. What they say will not be appreciated for long.”

No No’s

Have fun this summer but fortune telling, practicing spells, playing with ouija boards and doing seances are things we should stay away from completely. They are not cool or fun.

Read: Deuteronomy 18:14

“The nations you are about to displace consult sorcerers and fortune-tellers, but the Lord your God forbids you to do such things.”

Remove Them

When someone on your team scores high but is rude, has a bad attitude, and doesn’t respect others, you must remove them.

Read: Daniel 5:20

“But when his heart and mind were puffed up with arrogance, he was brought down from his royal throne and stripped of his glory.”

Things to Do

You’ve got to know when it’s time to quit, take a break and be satisfied.

Read: Proverbs 23:4

“Don’t wear yourself out trying to get rich. Be wise enough to know when to quit.”
