Seeing and hoping is good, but what we cannot see is real and goes on and on.

So we don’t look at the troubles we can see now; rather, we fix our gaze on things that cannot be seen. For the things we see now will soon be gone, but the things we cannot see will last forever.
Be zealous about your ideas when they are good. Stand for no mix signals.

It is fine to be zealous, provided the purpose is good, and to be so always, not just when I am with you.
Situations can seem hopeless, but not for you.

Oh, that men would give thanks to the Lord for His goodness,
And for His wonderful works to the children of men!

And cut the bars of iron in two.
When life gets tight, tough, and rough keep your hope. It won’t disappoint.

And not only this, but we also exult in our tribulations, knowing that tribulation brings about perseverance; 4 and perseverance, proven character; and proven character, hope; 5 and hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out within our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us.
Any and everyone can slip. When it happens, make this request sincerely.
Pray: Psalm 51:10
Create in me a clean heart, O God.
Renew a loyal spirit within me.
Accept yourself and work on improving daily.

Finally, all of you should be of one mind. Sympathize with each other. Love each other as brothers and sisters. Be tenderhearted, and keep a humble attitude.9 Don’t repay evil for evil. “If you want to enjoy life
and see many happy days,
keep your tongue from speaking evil
and your lips from telling lies.
11 Turn away from evil and do good.
Search for peace, and work to maintain it.
Enjoy Life.

Hold on to the hope that is ours.

So God has given both his promise and his oath. These two things are unchangeable because it is impossible for God to lie. Therefore, we who have fled to him for refuge can have great confidence as we hold to the hope that lies before us. 19 This hope is a strong and trustworthy anchor for our souls. It leads us through the curtain into God’s inner sanctuary.
