You must know the Word of God so you can do the Word of God and prosper because of the Word of God.
Read: Joshua 1:8
This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall read [and meditate on] it day and night, so that you may be careful to do [everything] in accordance with all that is written in it; for then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will be successful.
Find something you enjoy doing and do it with all your heart and you’ll never feel like you’re working.

Also Hezekiah resolutely set to work and rebuilt all the wall that had been broken down, and erected towers on it, and he built another wall outside and strengthened the Millo (fortification) in the City of David, and made a great number of weapons and shields.
Be completely honest and upfront when you come to God. No sidestepping. Those who do cannot be trusted.

But when you ask him, be sure that your faith is in God alone. Do not waver, for a person with divided loyalty is as unsettled as a wave of the sea that is blown and tossed by the wind. 7 Such people should not expect to receive anything from the Lord. 8 Their loyalty is divided between God and the world, and they are unstable in everything they do.
When you need answers don’t hesitate to speak up to God who will give them to you liberally.

If you need wisdom, ask our generous God, and he will give it to you. He will not rebuke you for asking.
Don’t squander time. Don’t just say you’ll do something, do it!

Remember how short my life is,
how empty and futile this human existence!
God has equipped you to do much. Don’t expect Him to do it for you.
Read: Galatians 6:7
Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, this he will also reap.
Attempt great things for God.
Read: John 14:12
Truly, truly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do, he will do also; and greater works than these he will do; because I go to the Father.
Judging and criticizing others will never benefit you. Don’t waste your time.
Read: Matthew 7: 1-2
Do not judge, or you too will be judged. 2 For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.
Here is how to walk in peace freely.

“Are you tired? Worn out? Burned out on religion? Come to me. Get away with me and you’ll recover your life. I’ll show you how to take a real rest. Walk with me and work with me—watch how I do it. Learn the unforced rhythms of grace. I won’t lay anything heavy or ill-fitting on you. Keep company with me and you’ll learn to live freely and lightly.”
It is natural to make plans for the new year but remember who establishes plans and check in with Him first.
