When our journey needs a lift speak aloud this truth for strength. God is your source of power.

²⁹ He gives power to the weak
    and strength to the powerless.
³⁰ Even youths will become weak and tired,
    and young men will fall in exhaustion.
³¹ But those who trust in the Lord will find new strength.
    They will soar high on wings like eagles.
They will run and not grow weary.
    They will walk and not faint.

Stop looking for loud outrageous exploits to decide if you’re hearing from God. Listen!

¹¹ “Go out and stand before me on the mountain,” the Lord told him. And as Elijah stood there, the Lord passed by, and a mighty windstorm hit the mountain. It was such a terrible blast that the rocks were torn loose, but the Lord was not in the wind. After the wind there was an earthquake, but the Lord was not in the earthquake. ¹² And after the earthquake there was a fire, but the Lord was not in the fire. And after the fire there was the sound of a gentle whisper.

Learn to know God and you will grow and be strenghten.

¹⁰ Then the way you live will always honor and please the Lord, and your lives will produce every kind of good fruit. All the while, you will grow as you learn to know God better and better.

¹¹ We also pray that you will be strengthened with all his glorious power so you will have all the endurance and patience you need. May you be filled with joy,^[a]

We should test and approve what we are told. Especially if it is from God’s Word.

¹¹ And the people of Berea were more open-minded than those in Thessalonica, and they listened eagerly to Paul’s message. They searched the Scriptures day after day to see if Paul and Silas were teaching the truth.

God loves and forgives, and he does not excuse the guilty.

We have many situations and people to face that we don’t want to deal with, but deal with it and them without any fear or hesitation because…

Mightier than all opposition is the Lord. Trust Him.

    mightier than the breakers on the shore—
    the Lord above is mightier than these!

These are the step to take to secure safety.

Fearing people is a dangerous trap,
    but trusting the Lord means safety.

Hold fast to your confession of Faith while coming through these troubling times.

¹⁸ So God has given both his promise and his oath. These two things are unchangeable because it is impossible for God to lie. Therefore, we who have fled to him for refuge can have great confidence as we hold to the hope that lies before us. ¹⁹ This hope is a strong and trustworthy anchor for our souls. It leads us through the curtain into God’s inner sanctuary.
