Not only us but God uses people who do not know Him to do his work

too. Pray for all leaders.  

Read: Ezra 6:3,5. 

If you have a little time today read Ezra 6:3-12.

“Memorandum:

3 “In the first year of King Cyrus’s reign, a decree was sent out 

concerning the Temple of God at Jerusalem.”

“Let the Temple be rebuilt on the site where Jews used to offer 

their sacrifices, using the original foundations. Its height will

be ninety feet, and its width will be ninety feet.”

5 “Furthermore, the gold and silver cups, which were taken to 

Babylon by Nebuchadnezzar from the Temple of God in Jerusalem, 

must be returned to Jerusalem and put back where they belong. 

Let them be taken back to the Temple of God.”

Let nothing or no one get in front of God in your heart, including

the good things. Watch Out! 

Read: I John 5:21 

“Dear children, keep away from anything that might take God’s 

place in your hearts.”

Don’t let pride stop you from being honest. 

Truth is needed for effective prayer. 

Read: James 5:16 

“Confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that 

you may be healed. The earnest prayer of a righteous person has 

great power and produces wonderful results.”

God does not tolerate compromise and neither should you.  

Read: 2 Chronicles 32:7-8

“Be strong and courageous! Don’t be afraid or discouraged because 

of the king of Assyria or his mighty army, for there is a power 

far greater on our side! He may have a great army, but they are 

merely men. We have the Lord our God to help us and to fight our 

battles for us!” Hezekiah’s words greatly encouraged the people.

Lying to a friend to create a joke is not cool, nor is it funny. 

Read: Proverbs 26:18-19 

“Just as damaging as a madman shooting a deadly weapon is someone

who lies to a friend and then says, “I was only joking.”

When an argument belongs to someone else, stay out of it. 

Read: Proverbs 26:17 

“Interfering in someone else’s argument

is as foolish as yanking a dog’s ears.”

Your enemy tries to curse you but it just won’t work. 

Read: Proverbs 26:2 

“Like a fluttering sparrow or a darting swallow,

an undeserved curse will not land on its intended victim.”

Foolish is as foolish does. 

Don’t become involved with foolishness. 

Read: Proverbs 26:4 

“Don’t answer the foolish arguments of fools,

or you will become as foolish as they are.”

Correction comes because of love. 

It is for your own good, so just receive it. 

Read: Hebrews 12:6

“For the Lord disciplines those he loves,

and he punishes each one he accepts as his child.”

You can be a good person. You can pursue what is right.
