The wisest thing for all of us is to spend time with God every day!

Read: Colossians 4:5

Live wisely among those who are not believers, and make the most of every opportunity.

The Lord hears every prayer. He hears every word, and it is like incense before Him.

Read: Psalm 141:2

May my prayer be set before you like incense; may the lifting up of my hands be like the evening sacrifice.

You can always trust the Word of God. It cannot be diminished.

Read: Hebrews 4:12

For the word of God is alive and powerful. It is sharper than the sharpest two-edged sword, cutting between soul and spirit, between joint and marrow. It exposes our innermost thoughts and desires.

The truth is you are a child of God, and you win.

Read: 1 John 5:4

For every child of God defeats this evil world, and we achieve this victory through our faith.​

We can defeat and destroy whatever obstacles the world puts in our way.

Read: 2 Corinthians 10:4-5

We use God’s mighty weapons, not worldly weapons, to knock down the strongholds of human reasoning and to destroy false arguments. 5 We destroy every proud obstacle that keeps people from knowing God. We capture their rebellious thoughts and teach them to obey Christ.

You cannot be separated from God’s love. Believe it.

And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love. 39 No power in the sky above or in the earth below—indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.

We can have peace because we know our final destination: we are citizens of Heaven.

 For, as I have often told you before and now tell you again, even with tears, many live as enemies of the cross of Christ. ¹⁹ Their destiny is destruction, their god is their stomach, and their glory is in their shame. Their mind is set on earthly things. ²⁰ But our citizenship is in heaven. And we eagerly await a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ, ²¹who, by the power that enables him to bring everything under his control, will transform our lowly bodies so that they will be like his glorious body.

God rewards those who are generous.

Is God’s voice louder than any other voice in your life? If not, turn up the volume by spending more time with Him.

Listen to advice and accept discipline,
and at the end you will be counted among the wise.

Fix your thoughts on Him and He will fill your year with peace.
