God’s Chosen

We do not give up on those we love because we know the truth.

Read: 1 Peter 2:9

But you are not like that, for you are a chosen people. You are royal priests, a holy nation, God’s very own possession. As a result, you can show others the goodness of God, for he called you out of the darkness into his wonderful light.

Trust in the Lord, who will always protect you because He loves you.

Danger

When you see danger coming, get out of its way.

12 A prudent person foresees danger and takes precautions.
The simpleton goes blindly on and suffers the consequences.

Always New

I have found this to be true. Every morning, God’s love and mercies are new.

22 The faithful love of the Lord never ends!
His mercies never cease.
23 Great is his faithfulness;

Gently

It’s not easy watching a loved one live in ignorance, but be gentle and pray. Only God can change a heart.

Read: 2 Timothy 2:25-26

5 Gently instruct those who oppose the truth. Perhaps God will change those people’s hearts, and they will learn the truth. 26 Then they will come to their senses and escape from the devil’s trap. For they have been held captive by him to do whatever he wants.


Honor

Honor God by doing what He said to do; pray one for another, love one another and love Him above all else.

I brought glory to you here on earth by completing the work you gave me to do.

Never too Late

God will use you no matter how old you are. Don’t count yourself out, it is never too late.

Read: Luke 2:37-38

37 Then she lived as a widow to the age of eighty-four. She never left the Temple but stayed there day and night, worshiping God with fasting and prayer. 38 She came along just as Simeon was talking with Mary and Joseph, and she began praising God. She talked about the child to everyone who had been waiting expectantly for God to rescue Jerusalem.
