Walk

Here is how to walk in peace freely.

Read: Matthew 11:28

“Are you tired? Worn out? Burned out on religion? Come to me. Get away with me and you’ll recover your life. I’ll show you how to take a real rest. Walk with me and work with me—watch how I do it. Learn the unforced rhythms of grace. I won’t lay anything heavy or ill-fitting on you. Keep company with me and you’ll learn to live freely and lightly.”

In Control

So much is going on and many wonder who is in control. Without a doubt God is in full control of everything.

Read: Psalm 33:13-20

The Lord looks down from heaven
and sees the whole human race.
14 From his throne he observes
all who live on the earth.
15 He made their hearts,
so he understands everything they do.
16 The best-equipped army cannot save a king,
nor is great strength enough to save a warrior.
17 Don’t count on your warhorse to give you victory—
for all its strength, it cannot save you.

18 But the Lord watches over those who fear him,
those who rely on his unfailing love.
19 He rescues them from death
and keeps them alive in times of famine.

20 We put our hope in the Lord.
He is our help and our shield.

Believe

Believe only. Doubt will cause you to fail.

Read: James 1:6

But when you ask him, be sure that your faith is in God alone. Do not waver, for a person with divided loyalty is as unsettled as a wave of the sea that is blown and tossed by the wind.

Stay Focused

You won’t sink if you keep your eye on the prize. Stay focused and don’t doubt.

Read: Matthew 14:27-31

27 But Jesus spoke to them at once. “Don’t be afraid,” he said. “Take courage. I am here![a]”

28 Then Peter called to him, “Lord, if it’s really you, tell me to come to you, walking on the water.”

29 “Yes, come,” Jesus said.

So Peter went over the side of the boat and walked on the water toward Jesus.30 But when he saw the strong[b] wind and the waves, he was terrified and began to sink. “Save me, Lord!” he shouted.

31 Jesus immediately reached out and grabbed him. “You have so little faith,”Jesus said. “Why did you doubt me?”

Plans

It is natural to make plans for the new year but remember who establishes plans and check in with Him first.

We plan the way we want to live,
but only God makes us able to live it.

Know It

I’m thankful we can know the one road that leads to Salvation.

Your Weapon

The enemy has no access to your personal testimony. Speak it out loud: God healed you, God blessed you, God protects you, God forgives you.
The Lord works righteousness
and justice for all the oppressed.

Walk In Love

God builds bridges not walls between the nations and all people groups and we should do the same.

Read: Acts 10:34-35

Then Peter replied, “I see very clearly that God shows no favoritism. 35 In every nation he accepts those who fear him and do what is right.
