You can gain respect by overlooking someone’s wrongs.

11 Sensible people control their temper;
they earn respect by overlooking wrongs.

Spending your time giving the enemy credit is not the way to go, so stop it. Give God your trust and the credit He deserves, and find peace.

14 “Don’t let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God, and trust also in me.

We do not have to afford what is not satisfying to us. So don’t waste your time on anything not pleasing.

2 Why spend your money on food that does not give you strength?

Why pay for food that does you no good?

Listen to me, and you will eat what is good.

You will enjoy the finest food.

3 “Come to me with your ears wide open.

Listen, and you will find life.

I will make an everlasting covenant with you.

I will give you all the unfailing love I promised to David.

All your enemies will be defeated!

15 If any nation comes to fight you,

it is not because I sent them.

Whoever attacks you will go down in defeat.

There is a lot going on but be assured no matter what, God is always faithful.

My covenant of blessing will never be broken,”

says the Lord, who has mercy on you.

God has done everything to make you happy so get your attitude in line with Him.

In this New Year be completely honest in all that you do!

17 Never pay back evil with more evil. Do things in such a way that everyone can see you are honorable.

Have faith in what you are doing. Doubt, fear and a lack of knowledge are thieves and will rob you of your success. Faith in God always wins.

10 The thief’s purpose is to steal and kill and destroy. My purpose is to give them a rich and satisfying life.

Be a problem solver. Look for someone to help today and be their solution.
