It Is Available To You

God made Salvation available to all people. He left no one out!

Read: Titus 2:11-13

11 For the grace of God has been revealed, bringing salvation to all people. 12 And we are instructed to turn from godless living and sinful pleasures. We should live in this evil world with wisdom, righteousness, and devotion to God, 13 while we look forward with hope to that wonderful day when the glory of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ, will be revealed.

How They Live

Knowing where people are coming from is important. Listen to what they say but more importantly watch how they live.

Read: Titus 1:15-16

15 Everything is pure to those whose hearts are pure. But nothing is pure to those who are corrupt and unbelieving, because their minds and consciences are corrupted. 16 Such people claim they know God, but they deny him by the way they live. They are detestable and disobedient, worthless for doing anything good.

Thank God

During this coming Thanksgiving Season stop everything and thank God above all!

Read: Psalm 95:6-7

6 Come, let us worship and bow down.
Let us kneel before the Lord our maker,
7 for he is our God.
We are the people he watches over,
the flock under his care.
If only you would listen to his voice today!

Here’s What’s Up

It is good to understand fully what the Scripture is for so you’ll know the importance of learning them.

Read: 2 Timothy 3:16

16 All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right.

Stay Away

Sad to say but there are some people you don’t just avoid but stay away from them.

Read: 2 Timothy 3:1-5

3 You should know this, Timothy, that in the last days there will be very difficult times. 2 For people will love only themselves and their money. They will be boastful and proud, scoffing at God, disobedient to their parents, and ungrateful. They will consider nothing sacred. 3 They will be unloving and unforgiving; they will slander others and have no self-control. They will be cruel and hate what is good. 4 They will betray their friends, be reckless, be puffed up with pride, and love pleasure rather than God. 5 They will act religious, but they will reject the power that could make them godly. Stay away from people like that!

Gently

When encountering people that oppose the truth, be gentle with them. It takes time to receive something good when understanding is lacking.

Read: 2 Timothy 2:25

25 Gently instruct those who oppose the truth. Perhaps God will change those people’s hearts, and they will learn the truth.

Run

If something is stimulating you to get into things you know you should not…run in the opposite direction.

Read: 2 Timothy 2:22

22 Run from anything that stimulates youthful lusts. Instead, pursue righteous living, faithfulness, love, and peace. Enjoy the companionship of those who call on the Lord with pure hearts.

Foolish

Avoiding foolishness should include avoiding fools. Don’t waste your time.

Read: Proverbs 26:4

4 Don’t answer the foolish arguments of fools,
or you will become as foolish as they are.

Protection

Trust in the Lord who will protect you and love you too.

Read: Psalm 91:14

14 The Lord says, “I will rescue those who love me.
I will protect those who trust in my name.

Reliable

Only put confidence in reliable people, especially in difficult times.

Read: Proverbs 25:19

19 Putting confidence in an unreliable person in times of trouble
is like chewing with a broken tooth or walking on a lame foot.
