Write It Down

Stop for a moment and write down what has happened and where you want to go. Clear your head by putting things on paper.

Read: Revelation 1:19

“Write down what you have seen—both the things that are now happening and the things that will happen.”

One Person

One person who listens to God and obeys can change the world. You can be that person.

Read: Genesis 7:1-5

” 1 When everything was ready, the Lord said to Noah, “Go into the boat with all your family, for among all the people of the earth, I can see that you alone are righteous.
2 Take with you seven pairs—male and female—of each animal I have approved for eating and for sacrifice, and take one pair of each of the others.
3 Also take seven pairs of every kind of bird. There must be a male and a female in each pair to ensure that all life will survive on the earth after the flood.
4 Seven days from now I will make the rains pour down on the earth. And it will rain for forty days and forty nights, until I have wiped from the earth all the living things I have created.”
5 So Noah did everything as the Lord commanded him.

Watch Carefully

There are times when you have to work like a SWAT Team to prevent evil from messing things up.

Read: Nehemiah 4:15-17

“15 When our enemies heard that we knew of their plans and that God had frustrated them, we all returned to our work on the wall.
16 But from then on, only half my men worked while the other half stood guard with spears, shields, bows, and coats of mail. The leaders stationed themselves behind the people of Judah
17 who were building the wall. The laborers carried on their work with one hand supporting their load and one hand holding a weapon.”

Quickly

Be sincere and get to the point quickly when asking for what you want.

Read: Philippians 4:6

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.”

Step Out

Step out and take a chance when you know you’ve heard from God. Faith is action.

Read: Psalm 33:18

“But the Lord watches over those who fear him, those who rely on his unfailing love.”

When You Know

Do not say “yes” when you know “no” is the right answer.

Read: Matthew 5:37

“Just say a simple, ‘Yes, I will,’ or ‘No, I won’t.’ Anything beyond this is from the evil one.”

Right Way To Go

Getting direction from God before getting into other things is the right way to go.

Read: Luke 10:39-42

39 Her sister, Mary, sat at the Lord’s feet, listening to what he taught.
40 But Martha was distracted by the big dinner she was preparing. She came to Jesus and said, “Lord, doesn’t it seem unfair to you that my sister just sits here while I do all the work? Tell her to come and help me.”
41 But the Lord said to her, “My dear Martha, you are worried and upset over all these details!
42 There is only one thing worth being concerned about. Mary has discovered it, and it will not be taken away from her.”

This is a world full of people but God cares about you!

3 The gatekeeper opens the gate for him, and the sheep recognize his voice and come to him. He calls his own sheep by name and leads them out.

This may be a hard pill to swallow and we may not like it, but some problems we have are necessary in order for us to grow.

Stay Away

One good reason to stay away from evil people is their ways are wrong.

Read: Proverbs 2:13-15:

13 These men turn from the right way
to walk down dark paths.
14 They take pleasure in doing wrong,
and they enjoy the twisted ways of evil.
15 Their actions are crooked,
and their ways are wrong.
