Friendships

True friendships are glued together by bonds

Of loyalty and commitment.  They remain intact

Despite changing external circumstances. True

Friends show love and kindness and are able to

Be honest with each other. It gets even better

When true Friends share a common commitment

To Jesus.

Tell The Truth

Telling the truth includes being honest about

ourselves; about our own nature; our own faults.

It means confessing that we are not perfect; we

don’t always do what is right before God or in

relationship to others. When we lie about ourselves,

we become self-deprecating, we rarely seek ways to

grow and fulfill more of our potential. Tell the truth to

others…especially to yourself!

Wake Up

Don’t ignore eternal rewards. Be willing to

make sacrifices now for greater rewards

later. Be willing to accept human disapproval

while knowing that you have God’s approval.

Wake up it’s better to please God rather than man.

Know it All

The only fool bigger than the person who knows it all, is the person who argues with him.  There’s no point in arguing with know-it-all people.  Better to let them have their say and walk on.

How Sweet It Is

Religious rule keeping can sap your strength.

It’s endless. No prison is as endless as the

prison of perfection. Of perfection. Her

inmates find work but never peace. How

can they? With the Sabbath and Ramadan

to observe and Classes to attend. Whew!

They never know when they are finished.

Christ…fulfilled the law for you. Bid farewell

To the burden of religion and enter into a

Relationship with Jesus Christ. Oh how

Sweet it is!

Ask

Don’t avoid life’s challenges. Enter them

Asking God for help. And while there, be

Honest. Pounding the ground is permitted.

Tears are allowed. Go to God ask and be

Specific…He knows what you need.

His Love Stands Firm

God’s love for you is not human or normal.

He sees your disobedience to Him and

still loves you.  Does He approve of it? NO.

Do you need to say you’re sorry and stop

Ignoring Him. YES. But do you repent

for His sake or yours? YOURS.

God’s ego needs no apology. His heart

needs no stroking. HIS Love stands firm!

Push or Pull

The doors of opportunity are marked Push and Pull. Do not be afraid to trust God. Don’t let indecision steal your dream. Never just sit idly by while time is moving on. Sometimes you need to come off of the main road to achieve. When opportunity greets you, you have to take a step of faith. Push a little and pull a little. Don’t just sit there… do something. As Pastor Bernard would say “God puts His promises in our reach not in our hands.” Go for it!

Don’t Be Afraid Of Your Future

Life is unpredictable, Nobody’s job is secure.

even Presidents of large corporations cannot

be certain they will be retained. David knew

what it was like to be a king one day and

a fugitive the next. The righteous face many

troubles, but the Lord rescues them from

each and every one of them. Take a good look at

Psalms 34:19 and when you finish shot

for joy knowing that you don’t have to

be afraid of your future!

Since today is my Birthday let me

Give you a double treat…

Plans

Before you were born God made plans for you.

The plans for your tomorrows are in His hands.

What is going on today, are plans He knew

about; He promises to be with you through

It all. Therefore you can anticipate days

filled with joy and hope. You should see

God more clearly in your tomorrow’s right

now and smile. God has a purpose for

Your life.
