Being obedient shows God you love Him.

Loving God means keeping his commandments, and his commandments are not burdensome. 4 For every child of God defeats this evil world, and we achieve this victory through our faith. 5 And who can win this battle against the world? Only those who believe that Jesus is the Son of God.
God’s love for you is greater than anything you can imagine. Even when we are unfaithful He still loves us.
Read: Hosea 2:20
I will be faithful to you and make you mine,
and you will finally know me as the Lord.
Just let LOVE rule. Be humble and patient, the reward is great.

Always be humble and gentle. Be patient with each other, making allowance for each other’s faults because of your love.
What sustains us and keeps us going is God’s love and compassion on a daily basis.

Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed,
for his compassions never fail.
23 They are new every morning;
great is your faithfulness.
Loving God is the right thing to do! Also, love your neighbors.

A second is equally important: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’
Love covers it all.

Hatred stirs up conflict,
but love covers over all wrongs.
God disciplines his children in love.
Read: Hebrews 12:5-7
And have you forgotten the encouraging words God spoke to you as his children? He said,
“My child, don’t make light of the Lord’s discipline,
and don’t give up when he corrects you.
6 For the Lord disciplines those he loves,
and he punishes each one he accepts as his child.”[c]
7 As you endure this divine discipline, remember that God is treating you as his own children. Who ever heard of a child who is never disciplined by its father?
Patience is keeping the flame low, and giving others a chance to grow. That’s love too!

Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud.
People who have no regard or respect for your loving care of them must be cut off. Protect yourself.

Don’t waste what is holy on people who are unholy. Don’t throw your pearls to pigs! They will trample the pearls, then turn and attack you.
God knew what He was doing when He deliberately chose us. We can be all He wants us to be!

27 Instead, God chose things the world considers foolish in order to shame those who think they are wise. And he chose things that are powerless to shame those who are powerful.
