Your Gifts

Your gifts are being used to help others.

Read: 1 Peter 4:10

Be Gentle

When you see someone in sin, help them out. Speak to them gently and help them get back on the right track.

Read: Galatians 6:1

Brothers and sisters, if someone is caught in a sin, you who live by the Spirit should restore that person gently. But watch yourselves, or you also may be tempted.

He Knows

Too often we forget that what we need from the Lord is just to know to Him. When you need Him, simply ask.

Read: Isaiah 65:24

Before they call I will answer;
while they are still speaking I will hear.

Poor

The poor are often not respected, even when they have the answer.

Read: Ecclesiastes 9:15-16

A poor, wise man knew how to save the town, and so it was rescued. But afterward no one thought to thank him. 16 So even though wisdom is better than strength, those who are wise will be despised if they are poor. What they say will not be appreciated for long.

Not Knowing

Let God guide you in your search for wisdom.

Read: Ecclesiastes 8:16-17

In my search for wisdom and in my observation of people’s burdens here on earth, I discovered that there is a ceaseless activity, day and night. 17 I realized that no one can discover everything God is doing under the sun. Not even the wisest people discover everything, no matter what they claim.

Fun

It is time to have some fun too.

Read: Ecclesiastes 8:15

So I recommend having fun, because there is nothing better for people in this world than to eat, drink, and enjoy life. That way they will experience some happiness along with all the hard work God gives them under the sun.

It Matters

Watch what you say and the way that you say it because it matters.

Read: Proverbs 16:23-24

The hearts of the wise make their mouths prudent,
and their lips promote instruction.

24 Gracious words are a honeycomb,
sweet to the soul and healing to the bones.

Be Happy

Enjoy life.

Read: Nehemiah 8:10

And Nehemiah continued, “Go and celebrate with a feast of rich foods and sweet drinks, and share gifts of food with people who have nothing prepared. This is a sacred day before our Lord. Don’t be dejected and sad, for the joy of the Lord is your strength!”

How and Why

How and why we do things means more than the things we do.

Read: 2 Corinthians 9:7

7 You must each decide in your heart how much to give. And don’t give reluctantly or in response to pressure. “For God loves a person who gives cheerfully.”
