For Your Benefit

Listen and obey those that God has put over you. It’s for your own benefit.

Read: Hebrews 13:17

17 Obey your spiritual leaders, and do what they say. Their work is to watch over your souls, and they are accountable to God. Give them reason to do this with joy and not with sorrow. That would certainly not be for your benefit

It Can Be

When it is difficult to decide what is right or wrong seek counsel from God for clear direction.

Read: Philippians 4:5-7

Let your gentle spirit [your graciousness, unselfishness, mercy, tolerance, and patience] be known to all people. Difficulties

Life and its struggles can be difficult but always remember you are never alone. Reach out to Him.

Read: Hebrews 13: 5-6

Let your character [your moral essence, your inner nature] be free from the love of money [shun greed—be financially ethical], being content with what you have; for He has said, “I will never [under any circumstances] desert you [nor give you up nor leave you without support, nor will I in any degree leave you helpless], nor will I forsake or let you down or relax My hold on you [assuredly not]!” 6 So we take comfort and are encouraged and confidently say,

“The Lord is my Helper [in time of need], I will not be afraid.
What will man do to me?”
