Speak the truth only and you’ll be respected.

A lying witness is unconvincing;
a person who speaks truth is respected.

Take nothing for granted. Pray about everything first.

Never stop praying.

Self-reliance will lure you into deep waters. It is best to stay close to God’s counsel to ensure your security.

If you quit listening, dear child, and strike off on your own,
you’ll soon be out of your depth.

Everyone is important, especially ordinary people so enjoy them too.

Live in harmony with each other. Don’t be too proud to enjoy the company of ordinary people. And don’t think you know it all!

You have not been abandoned or forgotten and you will never be alone so act like it!

For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light

Directing your own steps will not work. Allowing the Lord to direct you will work if you let Him.

O Lord, I know the way of man is not in himself;
It is not in man who walks to direct his own steps.

A man’s heart plans his way,
But the Lord directs his steps.

Keep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you.

When you seek him with all your heart, you win.

And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart.

There are many resources we need outside of ourselves that the world cannot give that are only received from God. He is the air we breathe, the sight we see and the life we live.
