Feeding Others

There is no substitute for a loving positive attitude towards others. Especially be careful what you feed your children daily.  Do not feed them junk ideas, sour opinions , rotten theology or no enthusiasm. Instead feed your children, spouse and your friends the best and most positive ideas, expressions of love and sound opinions that are healthy.  Remember children are like mirrors.. They reflect our attitudes.  Read Proverbs 20:7

Have a blessed week end and remember Go To Church!

Leading You

Who is leading you??? It is critically important for you to know who to follow.  Follow the Lord.

Read: Psalms 23: 1-6.

23 The Lord is my Shepherd [to feed, to guide and to shield me],
I shall not want.
2He lets me lie down in green pastures;
He leads me beside the still and quiet waters.
3 He refreshes and restores my soul (life);
He leads me in the paths of righteousness
for His name’s sake.
4 Even though I walk through the [sunless] valley of the shadow of death,

I fear no evil, for You are with me;
Your rod [to protect] and Your staff [to guide], they comfort and console me.
5 You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies.
You have anointed and refreshed my head with oil;
My cup overflows.
6 Surely goodness and mercy and unfailing love shall follow me all the days of my life,
And I shall dwell forever [throughout all my days] in the house and in the presence of the Lord.

He Cares

Know that God cares about every aspect of your life.
Read: Matthew 6:25-30
25 “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes? 26 Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they?27 Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life[a]28 “And why do you worry about clothes? See how the flowers of the field grow. They do not labor or spin. 29 Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. 30 If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you—you of little faith?

Faith

You must continue to feed your faith and stay strong.

Read: 1 John 5:4

For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith.

Don’t Do It

No Fretting, no worrying , no discouragement and absolutely no fear. Now obey him fully.

Read: Psalms 37:1-6

Do not fret because of evildoers,
Nor be envious of the workers of iniquity.
For they shall soon be cut down like the grass,
And wither as the green herb.

Trust in the Lord, and do good;
Dwell in the land, and feed on His faithfulness.
Delight yourself also in the Lord,
And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Commit[a] your way to the Lord,
Trust also in Him,
And He shall bring it to pass.
He shall bring forth your righteousness as the light,
And your justice as the noonday.

You Need

You can have wealth, material things, and go many places,

but to have peace, you need the Lord.

Read: Deuteronomy 8:3

“Yes, he humbled you by letting you go hungry

and then feeding you with manna,

a food previously unknown to you and your ancestors.

He did it to teach you that people do not live by bread alone;

rather, we live by every word that comes from the mouth

of the Lord.”

Guard

So important to feed your thoughts, ears and heart good things so your soul can prosper. No anger, bitterness, jealousy… say. Yes to love understanding gentleness and mostly the word of God.

Read: 3 John 2

Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.

Valuable

You are valuable to God!

Read: Matthew 6:25-26

Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes? 26 Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they?

Stop Trying

Trying to please everyone is a sure way to fail.

Read: Matthew 6:24

You can’t worship two gods at once. Loving one god, you’ll end up hating the other. Adoration of one feeds contempt for the other. You can’t worship God and Money both.
