Stop Trying

Trying to please everyone is a sure way to fail.

Read: Matthew 6:24

You can’t worship two gods at once. Loving one god, you’ll end up hating the other. Adoration of one feeds contempt for the other. You can’t worship God and Money both.

Being Taught

You may be going through some things just so you can be taught.

Read: Deuteronomy 8:3

3 Yes, he humbled you by letting you go hungry and then feeding you with manna, a food previously unknown to you and your ancestors. He did it to teach you that people do not live by bread alone; rather, we live by every word that comes from the mouth of the Lord.

Wherever You Are

God will bless you and feed you no matter where you are if you’ll believe and trust Him.

Read: I Kings 17:2-4

2 Then the Lord said to Elijah, 3 “Go to the east and hide by Kerith Brook, near where it enters the Jordan River. 4 Drink from the brook and eat what the ravens bring you, for I have commanded them to bring you food.”

It Is Possible

God’s power is matchless and He has a sense of humor too. Making an ax head float, feeding hundreds with twenty loaves of bread, increasing a widow’s oil and so much more. Never doubt God.

Read: 2 Kings 13:21

21 Once when some Israelites were burying a man, they spied a band of these raiders. So they hastily threw the corpse into the tomb of Elisha and fled. But as soon as the body touched Elisha’s bones, the dead man revived and jumped to his feet!

In This Life

It’s humbling I know but we cannot win in this life by eating bread alone.

Worry

Worry can cause you to think of stupid stuff that probably will
never happen. Do not worry.

Read: Matthew 6:25 – 27

“That is why I tell you not to worry about everyday life—whether you
have enough food and drink, or enough clothes to wear. Isn’t life
more than food, and your body more than clothing? 26 Look at the
birds. They don’t plant or harvest or store food in barns, for your
heavenly Father feeds them. And aren’t you far more valuable to him
than they are? 27 Can all your worries add a single moment to your
life?”

You Need…

You can have wealth, material things, and go many places, but to have peace, you need the Lord.

Read: Deuteronomy 8:3

“Yes, he humbled you by letting you go hungry and then feeding you with manna, a food previously unknown to you and your ancestors. He did it to teach you that people do not live by bread alone; rather, we live by every word that comes from the mouth of the Lord.”

Harsh

To rid yourself of feelings of anger and frustration try watching your tongue. Harsh words and harsh thoughts feed anger. Read Romans 12:17-18

Attitudes

Be watchful of your attitudes. Don’t feed your children, friends or associates junk ideas, sour opinions, rotten theology, poisoned feelings or wilted enthusiasm. Instead feed them with the best ideas, positive opinions, generous feelings and the freshest enthusiasm you can muster. Your attitude is nourishment to all you come in contact with just like food.
