Protection

Select people you trust who are wise and will hold you accountable for your actions which will keep you walking with God.

And will be at ease, without fear or dread of evil.”

Change Is Possible

It is important to realize how selfish you are when you want things your own way before God’s way. You must repent and sincerely desire to please Him first.

Read: Proverbs 8:9-11
9
My words are plain to anyone with understanding,
clear to those with knowledge.
10
Choose my instruction rather than silver,
and knowledge rather than pure gold.
11
For wisdom is far more valuable than rubies.
Nothing you desire can compare with it.

Action

We are justified freely by God’s grace! Don’t believe otherwise. Here is grace in action.

Read: 1 Corinthians 1:30

God has united you with Christ Jesus. For our benefit God made him to be wisdom itself. Christ made us right with God; he made us pure and holy, and he freed us from sin.

A Trap

Do not make decisions because they will bring you the most praise.

Read: Proverbs 7:21-22

So she seduced him with her pretty speech
and enticed him with her flattery.
22 He followed her at once,
like an ox going to the slaughter.
He was like a stag caught in a trap,[a]

Wait

Be quiet and wait on the Lord.

Read: Psalm 27:14, Psalm 33:20

Wait on the Lord;
Be of good courage,
And He shall strengthen your heart;
Wait, I say, on the Lord!

Our soul waits for the Lord;
He is our help and our shield.

We’re Not Having It

Enemy, you think you can attack me, my family, my friends, my church…well we’re not having it. We are servants of the most high God.

Read: Isaiah 54:17

No weapon formed against you shall prosper,
And every tongue which rises against you in judgment
You shall condemn.
This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord,
And their righteousness is from Me,”
Says the Lord.

Good For You

You may have taken a step in the right direction and perhaps some of your friends resent it but good for you!

Read: 1 Peter 4:4-5

Of course, your former friends are surprised when you no longer plunge into the flood of wild and destructive things they do. So they slander you. 5 But remember that they will have to face God, who stands ready to judge everyone, both the living and the dead.

Today

I’m praying for you!

Read: Colossians 1:9-13

So we have not stopped praying for you since we first heard about you. We ask God to give you complete knowledge of his will and to give you spiritual wisdom and understanding. 10 Then the way you live will always honor and please the Lord, and your lives will produce every kind of good fruit. All the while, you will grow as you learn to know God better and better.

11 We also pray that you will be strengthened with all his glorious power so you will have all the endurance and patience you need. May you be filled with joy,[a] 12 always thanking the Father. He has enabled you to share in the inheritance that belongs to his people, who live in the light. 13 For he has rescued us from the kingdom of darkness and transferred us into the Kingdom of his dear Son,

Just As You Are

You may dress differently, have tattoos and piercings in odd places but God accepts you just as you are. He loves you.

Read: Ezekiel 36:26

And I will give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit in you. I will take out your stony, stubborn heart and give you a tender, responsive heart.
