Even when our behavior is unacceptable God continues to love us. Be Grateful!

The sheep that are My own hear My voice and listen to Me; I know them, and they follow Me. 28 And I give them eternal life, and they will never, ever [by any means] perish; and no one will ever snatch them out of My hand.
O give thanks to the Lord, for He is good;
For His compassion and lovingkindness endure forever!
When the trials of this life leave you feeling battered, you can and must persevere.

Blessed [happy, spiritually prosperous, favored by God] is the man who is steadfast under trial and perseveres when tempted; for when he has passed the test and been approved, he will receive the [victor’s] crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him.
Everything has its time. Even those who do wrong.

He continued to seek God in the days of Zechariah, who had understanding [a]through the vision of God; and as long as he sought (inquired of, longing for) the Lord, God caused him to prosper.
Don’t expect bubble gum and candy canes every day. Expect sour and unpleasant days and situations too. When those days come, know the joy of the Lord is your strength.

And if [we are His] children, [then we are His] heirs also: heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ [sharing His spiritual blessing and inheritance], if indeed we share in His suffering so that we may also share in His glory.
It is okay to reflect on the past but don’t live there. Look ahead.

Be strong and finish the assignments you get from God.

Then David said to his son Solomon, “Be strong and courageous, and take action; do not fear nor be dismayed, for the Lord God, my God, is with you. He will not fail you nor [a]abandon you [but will guide you in the construction] until you have finished all the work for the service of the house of the Lord.
No man will [be able to] stand before you [to oppose you] as long as you live. Just as I was [present] with Moses, so will I be with you; I will not fail you or abandon you.
Pride will not bring you success but the opposite, it will cause you to fail.

A man’s pride and sense of self-importance will bring him down,
But he who has a humble spirit will obtain honor.
Perfect your gifts with a sincere heart and they will make room for you.

A man’s gift makes room for him,
And brings him before great men.
Be completely honest with your leader so that fresh insight and new ideas can be revealed.

Good leaders cultivate honest speech;
they love advisors who tell them the truth.
When you come to God He freely gives you a thorough transformation.
