Believers

Keep on the full armor. Be ready for immediate action.

Read: Ephesians 6:10-18

10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. 11 Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age,[a] against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. 13 Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

14 Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, 15 and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; 16 above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. 17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God; 18 praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints—

Encourage

Be a good example to your children, friends and associates by encouraging them because you do care.

Read: I Thessalonians 2:11

For you know how we were exhorting and encouraging and imploring each one of you just as a father does [in dealing with] his own children, [guiding you]

Foolish

Do not be foolish but believe.

Read: Psalm 14:1

Only fools say in their hearts,

   “There is no God.”

They are corrupt, and their actions are evil;

not one of them does good!

Content

Trusting God at all times in all situations brings true contentment. Know God works in secret at times and always for our good.

Read: Philippians 4:11

Not that I speak from [any personal] need, for I have learned to be content [and self-sufficient through Christ, satisfied to the point where I am not disturbed or uneasy] regardless of my circumstances.

Pray

Sincere prayer can change situations and we have a responsibility to pray for all men. Good, bad and indifferent.

Read: I Timothy 2:1

Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men,

Change

Anyone can change and so can you. You change by knowing and mostly doing what the Word of God says to do.

Read: Romans 12:2

2 And do not be conformed to this world [any longer with its superficial values and customs], but be [a]transformed and progressively changed [as you mature spiritually] by the renewing of your mind [focusing on godly values and ethical attitudes], so that you may prove [for yourselves] what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect [in His plan and purpose for you].

Sound Mind

When you are dealing with a lot of stress and feel like you’re losing your mind, stop, remind yourself that God has given you a sound mind and you can deal with the pressure.

Read: 2 Timothy 1:7

For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.

Avoid

People who are irksome, continually critical or habitually angry at life are people to avoid.

Read: Proverbs 22:24-25

Make no friendship with an angry man,

And with a furious man do not go,

25 Lest you learn his ways

And set a snare for your soul.
