Snakebite

It’s easy to complain, but it’s wrong. Complaining

puts you in a position of rejecting God’s gracious

provision. We are to stay away from complaining

and arguing. Once we have received eternal life, we

don’t stop complaining overnight. Yet complaining has

no place in believers’ lives. Complaining is habit-forming

and can be self-destructive.  We should stop grumbling

about our spouses, children, church, or friends. Life may

feel like a desert, and we may be hot, tired and anxious

for a new place to live and work, but beware of complaining

about anything or anyone…it’s like a poisonous snakebite!

A Person Of Value

Not every person can become number one.

Not every person can reside at the top of

any profession, company, or institution. Not

everybody can be “the star.” But every person

can be a hero, a person of value, a person who

plays a vital role in seeing a greater good accomplished.

Every person can make a significant contribution in

whatever they do. Try not to become a person of

success. Rather become a person of value.

Knowing The Shepherd

When you receive and know the Shepherd

You have everything you need. A God who

Hears you, the power of love behind you,

The Holy Spirit to guide you, His grace

For every sin, a candle that lights the

Darkness, strength to not fall

And an anchor for every storm

When you receive and know the

Shepherd you have all you need.

Stability

We must pay more careful attention

To what we have heard. So often we

Run around looking for some new

Thing to hear when we really need

To remember the Word we have

Already heard and obey them.  Rely on

Those time tested truths that have

Held their ground through the winds

Of change. Like I’ll never leave you

Or forsake you; your life is not futile,

Your failures are not fatal and your

Death is not final. We have eternity

With HIM.  Just think about it.

Affirm

Sometimes we need to go a step further.

Not just appreciate what others do but

affirm who they are. When we say thank

you to someone that’s a nice thing to do.

But when we acknowledge and express

Our gratitude for what others are in character,

In motive, in heart we are affirming them

personally. A mark of maturity is the ability

to affirm, not just appreciate. Let’s move

up to a high level of expressing our gratitude

building one another up.

Windows

There is a saying if you don’t have something positive

To say about someone or something, don’t say anything.

Listen to what you are saying. Have you told that person

who matters most to you how you really feel? Your words

are Windows to your heart. Examine carefully what you

say and learn more about what’s inside of you. Then change

what you need too! Now, listen in on your window and hear

what’s in your heart. I hope it makes you smile.

Character

Keep a daily check on your character: Of all the abilities you

may possess, the one to develop is character. Ability will

enable you to go to the top, but it takes character to keep

you there. Character will always win the day. Someone

once said “Fame is a vapor, popularity and accident, riches

take wing and only character endures”.  Good character

will not only bring you before kings it will cause you to

win in life, business and relationships.

In Charge

Do not loose hope! Do not despair! This will happen when

You try to solve your problems by yourself.  Hope returns

when you remember that GOD is still in charge.  HE has

the power to change your life. When things

seem hopeless or impossible return to GOD, pray to

HIM, praise HIM and wait patiently and courageously

for HIM to act on your behalf. God is in charge! Oh

yes HE is!

Always Present

Through both good times and bad, it is important to remember

that GOD is always present and always loving. During the

good times, he rejoices with us. During the bad times, he

weeps with us. Never never does HE leave us to rejoice or

weep alone. The best thing of all is GOD always delivers

us into His marvelous light.
