The Cross

In Old Testament days, when a person brought an animal to the altar to be sacrificed, it symbolized the transfer of their sin

to the animal. This allowed the person to be pure before God again.

In the New Testament, the cross is the altar and JESUS is the sacrifice.  When he died on the cross, he transferred the sins of

all people on himself, forever.  JESUS did this for you because He loves you. When you believe and accept that JESUS did this for

you, then you can begin to have a close relationship with Him. All you have to do now is admit your sin to God and accept

His forgiveness.  It is just that easy for you to be Saved!

…a lying tongue

So often the deceivers seem to get away with so much. They lie, cheat, and steal, and then live it up.

It seems that the only ones who get ahead are those who are willing to hurt others to do so.  Nothing is

further from the truth.  GOD loves those who will be honest and trustworthy.  Lying is abominable in the

sight of GOD, and no one who lives by deception will have any place in HIS Kingdom.  The liar will

have to answer to GOD for what he has done, but those who have lived in the truth will be blessed

of GOD.  Men and women who remain true to God’s will can rest in the assurance of God’s grace.

No Flirting

It is easy to fall into a trap of trying to live up to

Society’s standards. We try to look good for other

people. We play at popularity games and try to

impress others with our position and prestige.

This is sad, because who we should really be trying

to please is God. He has created each of us with

special gifts and talents, and it is His will that we

do nothing more than live up to the potential He created

for us. We don’t have to try to be something we’re not

with God. He knows us better than we know ourselves.

What is important for us to do is find out who we really

are and try to remain true to that identity.  God loves

us just as we are, and as long as we believe that God

knows what He is doing, we can be satisfied with

ourselves as He created us.

Be Yourself

Seize The Day

How many times have we said “I’ll do it tomorrow”?

Sometimes people put off doing what they really

want to do because they don’t think they know

enough or can perform well enough. The truth is

there is no magic age at which quality, ability,

and excellence emerge. It is equally wrong

to think that creativity and invention belong

only to the young.  It’s just not true!  Seize

the day!  No matter were you are in life.

Time is more valuable than money because

time is irreplaceable.  Redeem the time now.

It’s never too early, but it’s never too late!

Become Swif

The best way to find happiness in the grind of life is

to do so by Faith. A faith-filled life makes all the

difference in how we view everything around us.

It affects our attitudes toward people, toward

location, toward situation, toward circumstances,

toward ourselves. Only in faith do our feet

become swift to do what is right. Become

swift in trusting GOD. Become swift and

walk by Faith.

Keeping It Clean

Are there habits or activities in your life

that made you feel guilty in the past but

not anymore? You may have changed,

but God’s standards of right and wrong

haven’t. Confess your sin, repent and be

willing to follow the “pricking” of your

conscience and of the Holy Spirit. Don’t

let yourself become “numb” to sin!  Keeping

your heart clean protects you from the wiles

of the devil weather you know it or not. You

make the choice. Keep your heart, thoughts

and mouth clean.

Be More

The world may never understand your decision to

Follow God’s way.  But then, perhaps God

Cannot understand a decision to pursue what

The world offers either.  Be more concerned

With what GOD thinks about you than what

People think about you. Be more attentive

To what GOD wants then what the world

Is doing. You will be more blessed and

Receive more peace when you follow GOD.

Just Don’t quit

A failure doesn’t mark the end. It often

brings us one step closer to success!

Falling down doesn’t make you a failure

but staying down does. Never give up.

Keep running the race. In the end you

win. Just don’t quit!
